Redesign Contest Entry 1

*Stretches* Oh how I enjoy redesigning... not quite sure why... <3

So, here's entry number one for Nightshade-warroir 's contest.


Dread, hng, xD Sorry I HAD to draw him. I love "evil" characters and plus his personality +2 in my books. Vampire-Fox, flirty, plus he's basically a damn mercenary. So, rules were; Keep the same general colors, 'course I'm not claiming him as mine, and he is still a foxeh.

I am going to admit, it did bother me a bit to have him keep that hedgehog style muzzle, but as I started to work around it, I loved it more and more. The only color I did admittingly change is his eye color, though I only made them red because he is a vampire, plus it looked good when I tried out the color change. Nightshade-warroir, this is YOUR character so if you prefer for me to change the eyes back to blue as they are intended, I will go back. Even if this is a redesign contest, I'll do as you please. Now, I have most of the color chart to the side, my logo in the bg MIGHT fuck up the "true color" so if this does take first prize surprisingly, then I can remove the logo or make it smaller and stash it for the use of reference. I know he was naked before, but I have this insane difficulty drawing characters without clothing, mostly because I haven't gotten the anatomy correct just yet and it bothers the hell out of me when the porportions don't look right. The necklace around his neck is... a sorta vampiric cross that I combined and made from the images that I researched. Yeah I'm weird... XD anyways, those stitches on his shoes that I am just now realizing, wasn't intended to look like an upside down cross but... hey looks cool.

Anyways, I LOVED redesigning and drawing Dread. I enjoyed it very much and welp, like I said this is only entry number one. I did draw this one first so yeah. XD
